What We Do

Capacity Building and Mobilization

Synseis is presently immersed in building operational capacity and mobilizing allies for the cause. Executive level support is being enlisted from established institutions of Christian higher education throughout the world. College presidents and/or cabinet level administrators are stepping forward to be personally involved in their area of expertise with emphasis on mentoring new executive level leaders abroad.

Mentoring and coaching newly appointed national leaders for seminaries, bible colleges and ministry training institutes in the developing world is our first priority. We envision that the following strategic services will emerge from these synergistic relationships:

  1. Governance Training
  2. Strategic Planning
  3. Faculty & Staff Development
  4. Curriculum Review
  5. Accreditation Preparation
  6. Policy & Procedure Development
  7. Financial Advisement
  8. Technology & Library Support

Synseis continues to actively pursue alliances with individuals, institutions and organizations to increase our capacity to mobilize an army of seasoned and successful academic administrators to strengthen theological and ministry education throughout the world by coming along side newly appointed executive level national leaders as mentors and coaches.

Needs Assessment and Information Gathering

Armed with anecdotal information from short-term work abroad, Synseis Founders spent five years immersing themselves in activities that would help them to determine some of the real needs of global theological education. The needs assessment and information gathering phase demonstrated a need for such an organization.

Organization, Sponsorship and Accountability

Synseis was founded by several individuals and a parent organization to address academic infrastructure needs within theological education throughout the world. Shalom Ministries invitedSynseis Alliance International to participate in its ministry incubator. This relationship providedSynseis with the oversight and financial accountability it needed while organizing and preparing for a self-sustained launch. Second, a legal identity was established and proper applications submitted to ensure organizational integrity. Synseis was birthed as a non-profit organization during 2008 and international celebration resulted.
