In church last Sunday, nine year old Trevor declared, “when I grow up, I want to be a Pastor!” Being a part of the African Children’s choir, it wasn’t unusual for him to introduce himself that way; the significance for me was that it is evident that one of the values they articulate is they want to train and serve their homeland.

I turned to my wife and said, “Ultimately this is what Synseis is all about!” We believe that well trained pastors and their people are the agents of true transformation and Kingdom growth in their communities.

We believe that the formation of pastors take place in a God honoring learning community in their own context.

We believe that God honoring communities of learning must be lead by individuals of integrity and skill.

Soon after the concert I located Trevor and had a great conversation about his growing call. I pledged that he would be toward the top of my prayer list and I would pray that God would continue to shape him and honor the desire of his heart. I want to encourage you to pray for Trevor.

Ultimately, your investment in Synseis is a long-term investment in future leaders like Trevor!

On behalf of Synseis Alliance International board, staff and volunteers, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your prayers and support this past year!

We believe that the coming year promises to be the most impactful yet – we rely on you to pray and give generously!
